I’m fairly certain this was a color photo before it turned so cold outside.

No way that’s a colour pic. I was actually thinking the same about your other Rose pic with that bug.

This picture started as a color one, too. I converted in Adobe Lightroom to B/W. That was the only editing I did.

I don’t know about all the colour drained out. The photo of the rose is very effective as a black and white image. And yes, as someone else commented, it does remind us of the days of black and white tele. It took me a while to get used to all that colour in the room, especially as the earlier models were rather over bright colours.

I remember our first color TV. I was young, but still remember one of the first things we watched was The Wizard of Oz. I was blown away when Dorothy stepped out of the house in Munchkinville. I enjoy black and white images of roses myself. Thank-you for the comments, Millie. 🙂

I will. Thank-you for the encouragement. Would you like to see a black/white photo, or perhaps one in color today? Your call.

Indeed! I actually enjoy all types of weather, but I know there are many less fortunate than myself who could use a nice warm up. (and it makes for better camping 😉 )
