The first thought that came into mind after reading the first 2 lines were, “This guy must be god!”.
Then i saw the last line and started laughing. My colleagues had the exact worried look(the “Are you crazy or mad” look) when i read it out loud and then started smiling when i completed. 🙂
I had an amazing work from home week last week and it seemed like a long holiday to me. It is Wednesday and i still can’t bring myself out and then again there is a long weekend waiting. 🙂 God save me and my work.

Thank-you for the nice response! I’m glad you got a chuckle out of it. If I was was god, I’d be Weekendici. I would battle my mortal enemy Monducas, bringer of disgruntlement. Our battles would be the things of legend, and songs would be sung. Like the Mamas and the Papers, “Monday, Monday.” Monducas is a powerful advisory and normally I lose, yet still face him again every seven days. The only way to defeat him is by using the power of good attitude. He is a jerk. I don’t like him. (Maybe that’s why I lose so often.) 😉

It’s not happening for me this week, either. I’m here eating my oatmeal just daring someone to interrupt it. It’s the weekend of “be merry”. I’m hoping that everyone is off doing that, instead of thinking about their insurance.
